Harlequin Wedding News:
Wedding Bands Ireland News (In the Studio – 2018)
Wedding Band Ireland News… Since October Harlequin have been in the studio recording and working an album of original pieces written by Shane. Four of the tracks on the album were penned for our customer’s wedding first-dances. This is Shane’s favourite part of the job and he loves nothing more than singing a song written personally for one of our brides and grooms. When writing a song for someone Shane’s focus is to try and make the song very personal and intimate. Some people chose an upbeat song but the brief should remain the same – appropriate, subtle, cool and personal.
In December Harlequin’s weddings pianist Steo decided to call it a day. In his 20-year professional career Steo played to hundreds of thousands of people and he has been with Harlequin for 500 or so weddings. We’ll miss him terribly and wish him all the luck in the world with his new endeavors. Ciaran Gilligan has taken his place. Widely regarded as the best pianist on the island Ciaran is taking a break from touring with some of the biggest names in the business to spend more time with his family which we suppose is the reason we are so lucky to get him on board. A very warm welcome Ciaran.
